Partners with Families and Children: Spokane provides a comprehensive and culturally sensitive range of services for children and families including:
Multidisciplinary diagnosis of child sexual and physical abuse, neglect, and exposure to drugs and violence:
* Accredited child advocacy center
* Pediatric medical examinations
* Colposcopy
* Evidentiary interviews
* Multidisciplinary case staffing
* Children's legal advocacy
Families with multiple needs:
* Family-directed teams
* DASA accredited integrated mental health and chemical dependency counseling
* Strengthening parent-child relationships
* DADS treatment track for men
* Individual and group counseling for dads
* Developmental assessments of children
* Public health nursing
* Emergency funds for basic needs
* Food bank access: Project Hand Up
* Civil legal assistance
* Foster Care Assessment Program:
* A structured, comprehensive assessment for children with complex needs who are in foster care, and in need of permanency.
Children's Legal Advocacy:
* A child specialist employed by Partners is stationed at the County Prosecutor's office to provide education and support to children who are victims of crime and their families who are involved in criminal proceedings.
* Kid's Court and Teen Court - a group educational experience for young people who must testify in criminal proceedings.
